Vandaag hebben we de 20 weken echo gehad waarna ik het volgende filmpje door mijn vriendin aangereikt heb gekregen. Stille hint blijkbaar 
. Kom maar op met die Barbie poppen!

My First Flickr Silver Award received

Since a while I am posting all of my photo’s to Flickr.com, but views stayed behind and I was wondering how to get more views and comments. Besides having a backup of my photo’s on Flickr, this is where you make photo’s for…. Sharing !
Since a week or so I’m posting my best photo’s to several Flickr Groups of which the Flickr Bronze Award group is one. People can reward my photo’s by replying with a ‘bronze Award’ and after ten rewards, you are invited for the Silver Award and after ten silver….. you are invited for the Gold award.
Although you can have doubts to what those awards add to your portfolio because you have to award other photo’s when you publish one of your own and therefore you are forced to view other pictures, it does creates more views and people start looking at other photo’s too.
Today I have a milestone in receiving my first (and second) Silver award invitation.

LastPass – The last password you’ll have to remember

LastPass is a password manager that makes web browsing easier and more secure. Although I’ve never been enthousiastic about using a password manager, I’m completely convinced now! My main concerns were usability and reliability of the application. One of the main benefits of using a password manager is that you are able to use unique passwords for different websites and you can use much stronger passwords because you don’t have to remember them anymore.
LastPass stores the passwords encrypted on their server so it’s possible to synchronize the information amongst all of your PC’s. Your passwords are also accesible using a webbrowser (SSL) in case you need them on a public PC.
There is a beta version of LastPass Application which enables managing passwords for applications like Skype and so on.
In case you are still using the same password amongst several websites, use weak short passwords, then I advice you to take a look at lastpass.com and invest some time in upgrading your passwords and making your online live more secure !
The application is available for Windows, Linux, Mac OSX, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome. It also works on mobile devices (when you buy the premium version for $1,- / month) like the iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Phone, Symbian and Android.
